Edmund Holden

My role within Universal Maritime is Skipper. I completed a three year training and experience gathering period in which I crewed for various Skippers gaining knowledge about all the ports visited and different models of boat delivered by Universal with their individual handling variations.

I have over 30,000 sea miles logged.
Prior to joining UM I worked for the fire service for 28 years. Amongst my roles were coxswain of the Plymouth fire boat and working in the maritime firefighting department as an instructor teaching ships firefighting skills, vessel stability, and sea survival techniques.
For recreation I race yachts, and dinghies winning trophies in both at club level.
